On November 6th 2019, in recognition of the Jamaica Stock Exchange being the best performing stock exchange in the world in 2018, the Jamaican flag was flown for the first time outside the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
The stock exchange has performed consistently over the past 5 years and is up 30% since the start of 2019.
